On this episode Dianne Collins and I are in Olivette talking Irish food & beer with the manager at Fallon’s, Walt Chaboude. We also have Christopher Gianino a long term patron with us to discuss the restaurant! Walt just joined the real estate industry with Red Key Realty. Christopher is the owner of an awesome local moving company, Simple Moves.
Since 2009, Fallon’s Pub has been a family-owned business with Irish influence in every corner. Owners Chris and Dan, while not related, consider themselves brothers. Chris and Dan have worked together for over 20 years in various complicities in the restaurant and bar business in the St Louis area. Fallon’s is the culmination of lessons learned and people met from every business they were a part of previously. It was their love of food and drink in a casual “Cheers” like atmosphere that made Fallon’s what it is today.
From the Menu
Dianne and I took a delicious sampling of these menu items, all made from scratch from the freshest, highest-quality ingredients.
- Guinness Beef Stew – thick and hearty! Made with Ireland’s legendary stout.
- Shepherd’s Pie – made with ground meat, peas, carrots, and freshly shredded cheese.
- Reuben with fries – real corned beef is seasoned with brown sugar and mustard, oven-roasted, and thinly sliced. This sandwich is served on a special bakery-made hoagie roll.
- Famous Buffalo Wings – jumbo wings are cooked from a fresh, raw state. They are breaded, crispy fried, and tossed in a special sauce. Fallon’s wings have won awards at local food shows, Wind Dings, and the United Cerebral Palsy wing cook-off.
There’s something for everyone
Fallon’s also serves pizzas, salads, pasta, and fish and chips. Fallon’s is a must-stop for those who enjoy Irish food and beer in the St. Louis area. Kick back after a long week and “network” over some Guinness and great food!
